UC Irvine Beckman Laser Institute & Medical Clinic actively engages with industry, transforming promising discoveries into advanced, life-changing therapeutic and diagnostic devices.  These technologies are created through partnerships with companies and collaborations with experts from diverse disciplines including: medicine, engineering, biological sciences, physical science, computer science and business.

The Institute is committed to the dissemination of innovative technologies via commercialization.  Many of the individuals in academic labs and companies around the world have trained at UC Irvine Beckman Laser Institute & Medical Clinic.  Some companies are created, led by and employ former students and trainees, providing opportunities to contribute to the technology and medical device community in Orange County and beyond.
